Desert wind

A strong, hot, and dry wind originating in a desert region and blowing toward adjacent areas. These winds transport large quantities of sand and dust, reducing visibility and impacting air quality far from their source. Examples include the Sirocco in the Mediterranean, the Haboob in Sudan, and the Santa Ana winds in Southern California.
