Chili

A hot, dry, and dusty southerly wind that blows from the Sahara Desert across Tunisia. This wind is the local name for the sirocco and is characterized by a rapid increase in temperature, a sharp drop in relative humidity, and the transport of fine sand and dust. The chili can cause oppressive weather conditions, reduce visibility significantly, and have a desiccating effect on vegetation, occurring most frequently in the spring and summer months.
