Khamsin

A hot, dry, and dusty southerly wind that blows across North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, particularly during the spring. This wind originates from the Sahara Desert and is associated with the passage of low-pressure systems moving eastward. It brings significantly elevated temperatures and reduced visibility due to suspended dust and sand particles.
