Kew barometer

A type of mercury barometer designed for portability and ease of reading, developed at the Kew Observatory in England. It features a constricted tube to dampen the oscillations of the mercury column, making it suitable for use at sea or in changing conditions. This instrument was widely used for meteorological observations in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
