Gibla

A hot, dry, and dusty southerly wind experienced in Tunisia and other parts of North Africa, originating from the Sahara Desert. It is a local name for the sirocco wind, characterized by its high temperatures and low humidity as it blows from the arid interior toward the coast. The arrival of the gibla can cause a rapid temperature increase of 10 to 20 degrees Celsius in just a few hours, along with a sharp drop in relative humidity.
