Haboob

A type of intense dust storm or sandstorm characterized by a wall of dust advancing across a wide front, often associated with the outflow from a thunderstorm. These storms are common in arid and semi-arid regions, such as the Sahara Desert and the southwestern United States. Haboobs can reduce visibility to near zero in minutes.
