Below minimums

A condition in aviation meteorology where reported weather conditions, such as visibility or cloud ceiling, are lower than the prescribed minimums required for safe flight operations, particularly for landing or takeoff. When conditions are below minimums, aircraft may be diverted or flights delayed. These minimums are set by aviation authorities for different airports and aircraft types.
