Brown cloud

A large-scale atmospheric haze layer, primarily composed of airborne particulate matter and pollutants such as black carbon, sulfates, and nitrates. These clouds are often observed over industrial regions and can extend for thousands of kilometers, significantly reducing visibility and impacting regional climate. They absorb solar radiation, contributing to atmospheric warming.
