Cloud etage

One of three main altitude ranges in the atmosphere where clouds are typically found, as defined by the World Meteorological Organization's classification system. These etages are low (surface to 2 km), middle (2 to 7 km), and high (5 to 13 km), with some overlap depending on latitude. Each etage is associated with specific cloud genera.
