Cloudbow

A faint, white or very weakly colored arc observed in clouds, similar to a rainbow but with much broader and less distinct color bands. It forms when sunlight is diffracted and reflected by very small water droplets within a cloud. Cloudbows are typically seen in fog or thin clouds where droplet sizes are uniform and less than 50 micrometers.
