Concentration basin

A geographical area where atmospheric pollutants or other substances tend to accumulate due to meteorological conditions and topographical features. These basins often experience reduced air circulation, leading to higher levels of airborne contaminants. Examples include urban areas surrounded by mountains, where inversions can trap pollutants near the surface.
