Conservative pollutants

Atmospheric pollutants that undergo minimal or no chemical transformation or removal processes during their transport through the atmosphere. These substances persist for extended periods, allowing them to be transported over long distances from their source. Examples include certain inert gases or stable particulate matter that do not readily react or deposit.
