Data collection platform

An automated station or buoy equipped with sensors and a transmitter for gathering and relaying environmental data from remote locations. These platforms measure parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, and precipitation. Data is often transmitted via satellite to a central receiving station for processing and analysis.
