Davidson Current

A narrow, poleward-flowing subsurface current found along the eastern boundary of the North Pacific Ocean, beneath the southward-flowing California Current. This current transports warmer, saltier water northward, particularly during the fall and winter months. Its presence is often associated with coastal countercurrents and can influence regional oceanographic conditions.
