West Greenland Current

A cold ocean current that flows northward along the western coast of Greenland, carrying water from the East Greenland Current and Baffin Bay. This current transports icebergs and cold, relatively fresh water into the Labrador Sea and Davis Strait. It influences the local climate and marine ecosystems of western Greenland.
