Baffin Current

A cold, southward-flowing ocean current that originates in Baffin Bay and flows along the coast of Baffin Island. It transports cold, relatively fresh water and icebergs from the Arctic into the Labrador Sea. This current significantly influences the climate and marine environment of the Canadian Arctic and North Atlantic.
