Etesians

Strong, dry northerly winds that blow across the Aegean Sea and the eastern Mediterranean during the summer months. These winds are a result of the interaction between the persistent high-pressure system over the Balkans and the low-pressure system over Turkey. Etesians are known for their consistency and can cause rough seas, impacting shipping and local weather.
