Flux aggregation

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005657

The process of combining measurements of turbulent fluxes from multiple locations or over extended periods to represent a larger area or longer timescale. This technique addresses the spatial and temporal variability inherent in atmospheric exchange processes. It provides a more representative estimate of surface-atmosphere interactions than single-point measurements.
