Fog forest

A type of forest ecosystem, also known as a cloud forest, characterized by persistent or frequent immersion in fog or low-lying clouds, particularly in mountainous tropical or subtropical regions. The constant moisture from fog drip and high humidity supports a unique biodiversity and dense epiphyte growth. These forests are often found at specific altitudinal ranges.
