Fog drop
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005688
An individual liquid water droplet suspended in the atmosphere that constitutes fog, typically having a diameter ranging from 1 to 100 micrometers. These drops form through condensation of water vapor onto cloud condensation nuclei when the air becomes saturated. The size and concentration of fog drops determine the visibility within the fog.
