Wet fog
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010213
A type of fog characterized by the deposition of liquid water droplets onto surfaces, making them visibly wet. This occurs when the fog droplets are relatively large and the air is saturated, leading to condensation on objects. It can result in ice accretion on exposed surfaces when temperatures are below freezing.
