Rime fog

A type of fog that forms when supercooled water droplets freeze upon contact with surfaces, creating rime ice. This phenomenon occurs in cold, moist conditions where the air temperature is below freezing. Rime fog can lead to substantial ice accumulation on exposed objects, including trees and power lines.
