Cloud drop

A minute liquid water droplet suspended within a cloud, typically with a diameter ranging from a few micrometers to about 100 micrometers. These drops form by condensation of water vapor onto cloud condensation nuclei. They are too small to fall as precipitation but are the building blocks for larger raindrops.
