Drizzle drop
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005145
A small liquid water particle falling through the atmosphere, originating from drizzle precipitation. These drops are larger than cloud droplets but smaller than typical raindrops, often appearing to float or drift with air currents due to their low terminal velocity. Drizzle drops have diameters ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 millimeters.
