Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005687
The process by which water droplets from fog condense and coalesce on surfaces, particularly vegetation, and then fall to the ground as larger drops. This phenomenon is common in coastal and mountainous areas where persistent fog or low clouds interact with forests.
