Haugull

A cold, damp wind blowing from the sea, particularly used in the Orkney and Shetland Islands of Scotland. This onshore wind is associated with the advection of low-level stratus cloud, mist, or sea fog, known locally as sea-fret. It results in a marked drop in temperature and visibility along coastal areas.
