Lake evaporation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006844
The process by which water changes from a liquid to a gaseous state from the surface of a lake and enters the atmosphere. This transfer of water vapor is influenced by factors such as water temperature, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation.
