Line squall

A long, narrow band of thunderstorms or strong convective activity, often associated with a cold front or a trough of low pressure. It is characterized by a sudden onset of strong winds, heavy precipitation, and a sharp drop in temperature. Line squalls can extend for hundreds of kilometers and produce significant weather hazards.
