Meteorological message

A coded report containing meteorological data, such as observations or forecasts, formatted for transmission and international exchange. These messages adhere to standardized formats established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) to facilitate automated processing and clear communication among different agencies and countries. Common examples include SYNOP reports for surface observations, METAR for aviation weather, and BUFR (Binary Universal Form for the Representation of meteorological data) for more complex datasets.
