Mid-Japan Sea Cold Current

A cold ocean current flowing southward along the western coast of Japan in the Japan Sea (East Sea). This current is a branch of the Liman Current, bringing cold, low-salinity water from the northern parts of the sea. It significantly influences the regional climate and marine ecosystems of the western Japanese coast.
