Midnight wind

A local wind that develops during the late night hours, often due to differential cooling between land and water surfaces or between elevated terrain and valleys. This phenomenon is a type of katabatic wind, flowing downslope or offshore as cooler, denser air displaces warmer air. It is a common occurrence in coastal regions and mountainous areas.
