Natural synoptic period

A duration of time during which the large-scale atmospheric circulation patterns over a specific region remain relatively stable. These periods are characterized by consistent weather regimes, such as persistent high-pressure systems or recurring storm tracks. The length of a natural synoptic period can vary from several days to a few weeks.
