Pollen analysis

The scientific study of fossil and modern pollen grains and spores, known as palynology, to reconstruct past vegetation, climate, and environmental conditions. In atmospheric science, it involves collecting and identifying airborne pollen to understand its transport, dispersion, and impact on air quality and human health. Pollen counts are often used in allergy forecasts.
