Frontal analysis

The process of identifying and delineating atmospheric fronts on weather maps based on observations of temperature, dew point, wind direction, and pressure patterns. Meteorologists use this analysis to understand current weather conditions and to forecast future weather events. It involves drawing lines to represent the surface position of frontal boundaries.
