Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005811
A complex of atmospheric fronts, including warm, cold, occluded, and stationary fronts, often associated with a mid-latitude cyclone. These systems involve the interaction of multiple air masses and are responsible for much of the day-to-day weather variability in temperate regions. They are dynamic features that evolve over several days.
