Frontal cyclone

A low-pressure system that forms along an atmospheric front, typically a stationary or slow-moving front, and develops as a wave-like disturbance. This type of cyclone is characterized by distinct warm and cold fronts spiraling into its center, leading to a progression of weather changes as it passes. The Norwegian cyclone model describes the life cycle of these systems.
