Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-002126

  1. The change in atmospheric pressure over a specific time interval, usually three hours, at a given location. It indicates whether pressure is rising, falling, or remaining steady, providing insight into the movement and development of weather systems. This measurement is a key component of surface weather observations.
