Reverse-oriented monsoon trough

A monsoon trough that is displaced from its typical position or exhibits an unusual orientation, often leading to anomalous rainfall patterns. Instead of its usual east-west alignment, it might be tilted or located further north or south. This can result in drought in some regions and excessive rainfall in others during the monsoon season.
