Second Summer

A period of unseasonably warm and dry weather that occurs in late autumn, following the first onset of cooler, more autumnal conditions. This phenomenon is often associated with a stable high-pressure system that brings clear skies and mild temperatures. It is also known as Indian Summer in North America.
