Spillover

The phenomenon where atmospheric constituents or effects from one region extend into an adjacent region, often due to wind transport or atmospheric circulation patterns. This can refer to the movement of pollutants from an urban area into rural surroundings or the spread of cloud cover from one weather system to another. It describes the lateral propagation of atmospheric influences.
