Steering line

A conceptual line or trajectory representing the path a weather system is expected to follow, based on the prevailing large-scale atmospheric flow. It is derived from analyzing upper-level wind patterns, particularly at the steering level. Forecasters use these lines to predict the future movement of phenomena like hurricanes or fronts.
