Subhumid climate

A climate type characterized by precipitation levels that are slightly less than the amount of water lost through evapotranspiration, but still sufficient to support some agricultural activity without extensive irrigation. It represents a transitional zone between humid and semi-arid conditions. The Thornthwaite moisture index for subhumid climates ranges from 0 to 20.
