Veranillo

A short period of warm, dry, and sunny weather that occurs during the rainy season in tropical and subtropical regions, particularly in Central and South America. This temporary break in the rains is often associated with a northward shift of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). It is sometimes referred to as a 'little summer'.
