Very cloudy sky

A sky condition where the cloud cover is extensive, typically covering between seven-eighths and eight-eighths of the celestial dome. This classification indicates that only small breaks of clear sky are visible, if any. It is a descriptive term used in surface weather observations to characterize the amount of cloudiness present.
