Warm ridge

An elongated area of relatively high atmospheric pressure that is characterized by warmer air temperatures compared to its surroundings. This feature extends poleward from a high-pressure center and is often associated with stable atmospheric conditions and clear skies. A warm ridge can steer weather systems and influence regional temperature anomalies.
