White ice

A type of ice that forms on the surface of water bodies, characterized by its opaque, whitish appearance due to trapped air bubbles. It typically forms from the freezing of slush or snow that has fallen onto existing ice or water. White ice has a lower density and strength compared to clear, black ice.
