Wind divide

A geographical feature, such as a mountain ridge or a prominent landform, that separates two distinct wind flow patterns or air masses. It acts as a barrier, causing winds to diverge or flow around it, leading to different wind regimes on either side. Wind divides can influence local weather patterns and precipitation distribution.
