Climatic divide

A geographical boundary that separates two distinct climatic regions, characterized by noticeable differences in temperature, precipitation, or other meteorological variables. These divides are often associated with major topographic features such as mountain ranges, which block air masses or create rain shadow effects. The Rocky Mountains, for instance, form a prominent climatic divide in North America.
