Casing joint

A single length of casing pipe, typically ranging from 20 to 45 feet, that is connected to other joints to form a continuous casing string. Each joint has threaded ends for make-up, and the connections are designed to withstand tensile, compressive, and torsional loads. The length of casing joints is standardized by API specifications.
