Tubing joint

A single length of pipe, typically 25 to 30 feet long, that is threaded at both ends and connected to other joints to form the tubing string in a well. These joints convey produced fluids to the surface or inject fluids downhole. Each joint undergoes inspection for defects before being run into the well.
